At Serenbe there are playgrounds and ballfields, tennis courts and pickle ball, a dog park and over 16 miles of nature trails. A lake and dock with fishing along with bocce courts are both great places to spend an afternoon. Join the Gym, the Swim Club or board your horse at the stables.
Serenbe values learning at all ages and is proud to offer education options for families with school-aged children. Acton at Serenbe is inside the community, and there are private schools within driving distance outside the community and public schools in Fulton and Coweta Counties.
Acton at Serenbe is a learner-driven community comprising a series of micro-school “studios” that serve children ages 18 months – 14 years. The school model engages students in real-world projects, educational quests, and Socratic discussions in multi-age classrooms. It focuses on the “Hero’s Journey” of each student – helping students develop their academic skills while seeking their calling in life.
Acton uses the latest technology in a self-paced learning environment designed to foster responsibility, goal-setting, and teamwork. Acton students are empowered to thrive in a world that needs independent, motivated thinkers and learners.
Acton believes children learn best by doing. Whether it’s launching a startup business, creating a tide pool habitat, playing a musical instrument, painting a mosaic, or programming a robot, Acton students are building real-life skills in the classroom every day.
